Almost Home.
We sit now in the magnificent shadow of Mt. Rainier, in Western Washington. We have not seen the Paciifc Ocean in more than eleven months.
Our airplane tickets are a reality–another miracle of generosity and support for Return Voyage. On August 21 we fly over that expanse of ocean to Honolulu. On August 24, we return to Kaua’i.
Our hearts and minds are filled to brimming with the faces and voices we’ve engaged so intimately since last September, the homes we stayed in, the Return Voyage gatherings that took off in directions neither of us could have ever foreseen. We are leaving our Camry (and our winter clothes) here in Washington state, awaiting the next round of American outreach…when we are so guided.
But now, we are ready to take our message and our mission back home. Over the next four months, we will offer Return Voyage gatherings–for the first time ever–on our Hawaiian Islands. We are excited to bring our message and our mission back home. The time is now.
